Glory to Jesus Christ!

I think everyone has words of gratitude to those people who are around them and Christians especially must also have gratitude, above all, to the Lord.

My name is Dina, I am 21 years old and I am grateful to God for guiding my life. I am a missionary in the village Novaki, in the Poltava region; 3.5 years have passed since I arrived in this village. I want to share a report of the events that take place at our missionary station. After many years of work, the Church in the village Novaki has developed a good reputation among the local people and the authorities. We have the opportunity to attend schools, and kindergartens to teach Bible classes. Also many fellow villagers come to the evangelical services. Many other people show their desire to offer help in various ways when we prepare events for children and conferences. I am grateful to the Lord for the privileges that the Church has.

Repeatedly people turn to us for help; from our side we help as much as we can. Currently, we have a man who is 58 years old and he is
almost blind. His life did not turn out well and in recent years he was forced to live in a boxcar and did not have a fulfilling life. Our minister learned about him and offered to help him, so for now he will live with us. And it is by the grace of God that he met our minister, because in a few months Uncle Grisha's life would become the life of a complete homeless man. Thank God that He gave him the opportunity to be in the Church and for us to serve this man.

Our ministry is not only limited to our village, there are also two more villages in which we serve. For more than 5 years there have been services, children's camps and meetings in the village of Iskivtsi. For us, it is God's blessing that this years evangelical meeting was attended by 9 local people who overcame their fear and shame. It is a great miracle for us. Glory to Jesus!

For more than half a year, the pastor would bring to our Church services (in the village of Novaki) several families from the village of Ostapivka. These people and children are interested in God; and God allowed services to be held there. Several weeks ago a young woman, Oksana, gladly suggested that the services be held at her house. So every Saturday the people of Ostapivka happily meet us there. These people are close to the Lord and we pray for their decision to fully commit to God.

We are happy to be familiar with Jesus and our desire is to have more people meet Him. We need your prayers for us and the people of these villages. I am grateful to Jesus Christ that I have brothers and sisters all over the world.

“Be strong, and let your heart take courage, all you who wait for the LORD!" Psalm 31:24
"You are the light of the world. A city set on a hill cannot be hidden." Matthew 5:14

I express my sincere thanks to the Ebenezer mission for the financial donations you have made to prepare your home for missionaries in the village. The village. We have already prepared the housing, and from February 1, the young missionary families, Andrew and Masha Oleshchuk, will begin work in the village. Thank you very much for the money you have donated. They have become a great help to us! May the Lord bless you and reward you many times for your kindness!

"HE COMES TO THE UNKNOWN"

Dear brothers and sisters, dear donors! With your help, various evangelistic events are held annually on Christmas and New Year holidays in Ukraine, including an organized group of young people from Rivne churches, who prepare a festive pageant for the year. Although this is all done at the amateur level, but thanks to God's blessing and understanding of the participants, this is all done for the glory of God, and as for the Lord, this performance has a rather high professional level. This year the theatrical performance was intrigued by the name "He came by a stranger" and was shown in various cities and villages of Ukraine (Poltava, Chernihiv and
Picture
Zhytomyr region). Usually meetings are held in houses of culture, clubs.
Many children of all ages, together with adults, always come to these events. Here is a line from a letter from one of the participants of this event: “Our Christmas meetings are over. During the nearly two-week trip, we saw the great mercy of God. Everything went very well. We thank you for praying and blessing the financial success of this God-pleasing cause. ”

P.S. Today, freedom in the preaching of the Gospel continues in Ukraine, so it is important not only to pray, but according to the commandment of Christ to go to people, constantly searching for various means, to reach their hearts, to awaken them to Jesus Christ and to get closer to the knowledge of God's truth. Working with children is especially important. The missionaries constantly spend Bible classes, Sunday school, games, summer camps with their children. That is, they do their best to keep in touch with children. Many of them have already grown up and become members of the Church through their hard work with missionaries.

ACKNOWLEDGMENT OF THE MISSIONARY FROM KHARKIV

Picture
Greetings, beloved God, brothers and sisters! Thank God for His mercy and love and for His concern for me.
Thank God I have the opportunity to carry on missionary work in Kharkiv. From June 2019 she worked in the village of Yakovenkove, Balakli district. Since then, Christian playgrounds, camps, evangelisms have been held, and humanitarian aid has been provided to families of various types. They had repeated trips to such villages as: Borshchivka, Zalyman, Krasnyi Donets, distributed Christian newspapers, held playgrounds.
A few months ago, our Missi-Oner team moved to live in the village of Red Donets. Having settled in the apartment, at first we decided to clean up on a playground and on a flowerbed. When we were cleaning, the people walking by were saying, "but the believers have settled in." It turned out that we cleaned not only the territory of our entrance but also the neighboring one. And this was already a testimony to people, they didn't understand why we were doing it for others, and even for free.
Every day we went out to the center of the village and talked to people. They testified to them and told of God, the Gospel, and salvation. Once a week, we hold a home group for grandmothers who go, who go to Balakliya church, who go to a neighboring village, but all live in Red Donets.
We met our neighbors. Natalia, a grandmother of 86 years. She is very fond of coming to us for tea and listening to us sing, we are still friends with Vera Stepanivna, she lost her husband a year ago and it is very bad for her, she also loves to communicate with us, tells us the historical facts about the village. We also met one man - Yuri, he
is friends with the owner of our apartment and after losing his wife a month ago, often stayed with us, because it is difficult to be alone in that apartment. We witnessed a great deal to him, and he promised to go with our mistress (she is a believer) to church.
Still, we communicated very well with the shopkeeper from the store. She was interested in everything we were told. She said she was simply fascinated by the way we talk about the Bible and God. She was interested in everything: what is repentance? What is it for? How to repent correctly? How to live without sinning after repentance? She just filled us with questions every time we came to her. Later we gave her a Bible. In early December, me and Lena (the sister we work with as a team) were asked to go to Crimea to help the missionaries spend the Christmas holidays. We have had a great blessing on the road. They were very worried because for the first time they had to cross the border on their own. But God, as a loving Father, blessed us and one man whom we met in the train and whom we told God about, helped us quickly get to the border and pass both customs. We believe that in due course this word sown in its heart will sprout and bear good fruit.
Carrying out holiday programs for children and adolescents in Crimea is not easy because evangelism is not allowed here, so all this is done without publicity. Pray that God would intercede for these churches and be allowed to preach the gospel openly.
After the Crimea, we moved to live in the large village of Parkhomovka. From here we go to other villages. In particular, the village of Koziivka held a children's holiday and 100 children came! Thank God! Sunday school was also started. Pray that God would bless the continued work in the villages with the children and give us wisdom.
May the Lord fill your dwellings with a blessing. May your hearts be filled with His joy and peace!
Vasylina Pavlenko, missionary,
with. Parkhomivka, Kharkiv region
