During a previous trip, the group that went started building a church building for the Tarahumara people. The trip in the fall was focused solely on completing the church before the winter season.
Things that still needed to be completed were:
In addition to completing the church building, the group held Bible lessons, games, and activities for the kids.
As has become the custom, the group also brought many necessities for the Native Mexicans to help them last through the winter.
Our main goal for visiting, is always, to show the light where needed most. Native Mexicans that live in the mountains live in some of the poorest conditions of the country.
